RECEIVED OUR REBEL YESTERDAY AND WE ARE AMAZED AT THE QUALITY OF THE BIKE

It was packaged with extreme care and was very easy to put together...Took it out for a spin and was pleasantly surprised to see how well it worked and how comfortable it was...It has so much power and it was very easy to navigate the hills around where we live....It was easy to mount and dismount the bike....We did a lot of research on electric bikes before we decided on the civibikes....We emailed civibikes with a number of questions and were promptly replied to with answers to our questions.....Once we ordered the bike we received it in short order (5 days).....Looking forward to taking it on long rides in the days to come!!!

BIKES ARRIVED IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, AND WERE DELIVERED FASTER THAN EXPECTED

My wife & I bought two bikes for our retirement travels & adventures.
Bikes arrived in excellent condition, and were delivered faster than expected.
They are very sturdy and strong. Love the easy fold-ability.
I am a big man, (6' tall, 240 lbs.) and the bike fits me and moves me along without any problems. It is powerful and faster than I need to go.
Really like the pedal assist. It has 6 levels of assist; I have only used powers 1 & 2 around the neighborhood, which has a couple of good sized hills. Or you can set the power assist to 0 and then use the throttle option as needed to adjust your speed to the terrain.
Customer service from Civibikes has been excellent. They have followed up with us repeatedly to ensure we were happy with our purchase.

BEYOND EXPECTATIONS

I did extensive research on eBikes and found that most bikes with reasonable performance specs were expensive. I have just purchased the Rebel 1.0 and love it!!! It handes well in off road conditions and is super easy to opperate.

VERY HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE

I've been researching ebikes for over a year but have been unable to make up my mind on which bike to purchase. This morning I went to the Civi office/warehouse in Ontario as they offer the opportunity to test ride their bikes.
Tony and Ray showed me the various models, but for my needs the Rebel 1.0 seemed the most appropriate as I wanted a foldable bike, yet capable of taking on some trails.
I rode their demo Rebel around the parking lot which doesn't give you an opportunity to test the hill climbing capability. I was a little worried about the adequacy of the 500w motor but decided to take a chance and buy the bike.
When I came home, I unloaded the shipping carton and assembled the bike. I was told it would take 15 minutes, but I had it built in about 10. After charging the battery, I took it for a spin on our golf range trails which are super steep in some places. I was very impressed with the power of the motor and the ease of tackling the steep hills with minimal pedaling. I've been riding bicycles all my life, but at 70 years of age, I simply can no longer handle hills. I was so amazed at the great performance of this bike. I really regret that I did not purchase this long ago.
